Question

Hi everyone,

We have a computer shop in Brussels. Last evening, around 18h45, a woman came to our shop and asked me to test her Laptop which was not turning on...I tested the PC and found that the charger of her laptop is defective and doesn't work anymore. So i opened the Box of a brand new charger and showed her that now her laptop is working. She asked the price and i gave the price of 49€ VAT included. She refused to buy the charger and said that it should not be more than 10€. I replied "OK Fine" but she needs to pay me minimum 20€ for diagnostic chargers and she said that she doesn't have money (not on her bank card and not in her wallet) For me, it's a bit strange that how come a woman could go to a shop to buy or get repaired her laptop when she doesn't have even a cent. She said that she just needs her laptop back and i refused to return her laptop if she doesn't buy the charger as it was opened or she doesn't pay at least 20€ for diagnostic. She called the Police and as we close our store at 19h00 and it was already 19h15. She refused to go out from our shop. Police arrived around 19h40.She explained the situation to the Policeman and the policeman straightly replied that she must pay 20€ minimum for the diagnostic. She said that she doesn't have even a cent. So Policeman replied "Madam i can't force him to return your Laptop if you don't pay me" Then suddenly she said that she is a "magistrat"
So i personally think that she should have disclosed her professional status and i think she just used her position to pressurized the Policeman, so the Policeman quickly changed his words and forced me to return her laptop. However, i took the photocopy of her ID card. So my question is "what can be done against this so called "magistrat" woman who used her influence on a policeman and i take it as a "Corruption" i mean she should not disclose that she is a "magistrat" when she is not herself abiding the law.She also asked the Policeman "Who is his CHEIF" she replied "Madam i'm not going to make any PV"...And what action can be taken against this Policeman"? I really need the justice and it's not for 20€ normally it should be more than 20€ because i was stayed at my shop until 20h00...it is about the money, its against the system...These Policemen and Magistrats think that they are above the law and whatever comes out from their mouths is a law. I'm a foreigner and im pretty sure that i also found an element of discrimination last evening. I would really appreciate your comments and help. Thanks. Faisal

Ask for an investigation and complain about the police man on duty to 'Comite P'. Take the copy of the ID card of the so called 'Criminal magistrate' and go to the court in Brussels-The justice palace and complain there ....yes, Belgium is a very corrupt country full of dishonest people wanting to make a fask buck!
