Children's birthdays with dancing
You do not say where you are or what language your daughter speaks with friends but if you can move furniture in your house, I d go for jean emmett and one of her dance parties. She is English speaking and speaks dutch too and runs a dance school and parties in your home and brings all costumes and props for a very reasonable cost. She is legally self employed too. Find her on Facebook or maybe with Google. She could probably travel anywhere in Brussels or vlaams brabant

Check Stardust, they organize discos in the "nightclub"
Depends on where you live! Anywhere in South/East Brussels you could look at Rainbow Kids playcentre on Chaussee de Wavre in Auderghem. One Friday a month, they do a disco for kids aged 9 to 13 from 18h30 to 21h00. They can provide the cake, candles, drinks etc. and you can choose to have food also (we ordered pizza for the kids). My daughter had her 11th birthday there in the summer and absolutely loved it. DJ, smoke, lighting etc, feels like the real deal - plus they get access to the playcentre slides etc. which they all secretly still love but feel at 11 they're getting too 'old' for it :-). Big success and quite a small centre with a good locked door system so no nightmare scenarios of trying to keep tabs on 15 other people's kids. http://www.rainbowkids.eu/services1
