Clothes/general appearance for work

See what the other teachers are wearing, there is no set rule for private or public schools. It's as simple as that.

Depend on the school but most here expect casual smart for staff so for example not often jeans but not formal suits either also depend on age of pupils I guess younger means more chance of messy.

Also maybe if the school has a website have a look and see why people wear some of my children males teachers don't wear a shirt and tie whilst other do I think it depends on person, if female trousers or skirt or acceptable or dress but usually not shorts
