Belgium E+ card for EU citizen

The minimum requirement is that you must have been registered as living in Belgium for at least five years, and, in practice you won't be able to get one immediately then. The renewal of your first E card will be another E card.

If your commune need to see additional documents in order to be able to subsequently issue you with an E+ card, they will tell you.

I got an e plus card on first renewal. I chose not to take an extra card whilst waiting 5 months for each plus card approval. Neither e card nor e plus card are obligatory I just lived 5 months still registered on paper to avoid 25 euro for a new E card knowing I was going to get an e plus card 5 months later.

No docs needed for example plus card.

Same rule for all permanent residences in EU, 5 years.
