Question

Working as a Freelance / Independant in UK.
I am Belgium citizen, planning to moveg to UK and work as independant/consultant.
I will be working for Belgian company (client).
Can somebody guide me, how I can start this process ?..
And what are the options are available for me.

Beware - it is certainly no easier than Belgium, and the rules are extensive, complicated and confusing.

So the first bit of advice is "get an accountant".
.
Preferably a small local practice where you will be an important customer to them, where you get to deal with the same person all the time.

On the positive side, you will end up with a greater proportion of what you earn in your pocket, unless you have 4 or more children.

The accountant will advise you and probably set you up with a limited company through which you will trade - that's the best option for /most/ freelancers.
