bathroom leakage

Hello there just moved to an appartment and i hadnt yet taken insurance. I placed a rack in the bathroom, and in this part the silicone had moved so there was a dent.Surprise, surprise water licked and it spoiled the neighbors hallway down stairs, can i by any chance use my family insurance for this damage?
