Replacement of one double glazed window

Question

We have approximately 28 windows which were replaced with double glazing 10 years ago.
Unfortunately one half of a window has been damaged and has condensation between the panes.
What is the best solution ? Replacement or repair?
Can anyone recommend someone to do this in the Wavre area, at a sensible price ?

It is a simple replacement job, measure up, order and then replace. Have you asked your insurance company, accidental damage should be covered subject to any excess, but just about any glazing company can do it. I would, perhaps, start with the people that supplied the windows originally.

As BECASSE mentions above, this is not complicated. Contact the company that installed them and get replacement glass. They may even have the dimensions from your initial order so you can get exactly the right piece.

Or else, call any local glazier and have the glass replaced.

Its often possible to just remove the blown piece and pop in a new one and isnt as messy as having whole lot ripped out

Thank you to all for the advice. I didn’t consider claiming from Insurance so will try that first. They are just months outside the guarantee period which is annoying.
I obviously hope this will be a one off and not cost an arm and a leg!
