Is there free wifi in the Thalys if I book a standard ticket?

From experience yesterday: Is here free wifi? Yes. Does it work? Going from Bxl to Paris, yes, for about 10 minutes. Going from Paris to Bxl, no.
But 4G on Mobile Vikings (Base) worked fine for most of the trip.
