Residence permit renewal issue
Hello All,
I have recently received my renewed work permit till Apr 2019, post which I immediately submitted the request for renewal of residence permit with my company's agency. My RP expires on 25th May 2018 and till now I havent heard back from the commune/agency. It seems the documents were submitted on 23rd March to the ministry.
My trouble is that I intend to travel to Spain on 29th May 2018 (tickets were booked very well in advance). I have heard that it usually takes more than a month after the ministry replies.
Does anyone over here is aware of an alternative temporary travel document that can be issued by the ministry or commune that can facilitate my travel? If yes, your help in this matter would be appreciated
Yes, the commune can issue with a document explaining that you are going through an administrative process.
It should not affect your ability to travel to another Schengen country.
You should be able to use your passport, which in any case, should also have a Schengen visa in it, enabling travel within the Schengen area.
You can ignore Anon who clearly doesn't know you do not have any valid Schengen visa in your passport!
You should get a temporary document for your situation, I have seen tons of them, as already explained.
