Question

Any of you gone Belgian recently? (this is sort of a rhetorical Q...)
My commune (1150-WSP) were very helpful, gave me a list of things to do after having spoken to me about my situation, and lo and behold, when I went back with all the documents, 4 months + 1 week later, I had ID I could travel on.

What's your experience?

Didn't go Belgian, I went Irish instead. If you have a parent or grandparent who was born anywhere on the island of Ireland, you're entitled to Irish citizenship. I can't remember exactly when I started the process, but it took way less than 4 months, more like 6 weeks.
