I just purchased a Tom-Tom and after running the update it has been excellent - Obersavation: One of the cost factors relates to how many country maps you want - The less expensive classic line covers 22 countries while the more upscale models cover 45 - I like the Tom-Tom for both driving & walking - hope that helps - Happy Holidays!
