Question

Hello, what have you done about changing your driving licence if you are a long term expat? Should I have a Belgian driving licence or can I continue on a UK one even if I'm currently living here? Thanks.

go to the commune and exchange it for a Belgian one.

Not sure about UK driving license, but I was able to register Polish driver license with the police in Antwerp. They were not very happy about it since they would not collect extra money for exchange of licenses, but I avoided trouble for the future. As EU member country they had to respect the law that I can stay here for a long time (now 2+ years) and still drive on my original country driver license.
