Are there any public allotment gardens in the Brussels area, and if so, how do you apply for them? I live in a flat in Ixelles and would really like to be able to grow a few flowers and vegetables.

I've seen them in Boisfort (in the park near Beaulieu) and Auderghem (near Rouge Cloitre), but I think if you ask at the Ixelles commune they will be able to tell you if they have any
