Teaching credential

Good afternoon. I'm a former government employee who left my job three years ago to care for our kids. I'm ready to return to work but want to teach English. I have a degree in English literature but no teaching experience. Should I try to get a teaching credential at a Belgian university? My Dutch is basic but I speak virtually no French. Many thanks.
