Bubble Planet Experience: Enter a dreamlike, fascinating and colourful bubble

Brussels has opened its doors to an extraordinary and enchanting immersive experience – the Bubble Planet Experience at Tour & Taxis.

Hosted by Exhibition hub, Belgium’s highly successful exhibition production and distribution chain, the experience has already proved popular in Los Angeles with over 100,000 visitors.

Organisers hope to break this record in the Belgian capital by offering visitors a delightful journey into the festive world of bubbles. The experience captivates and immerse participants with giant ball pools, a hot-air balloon flight simulator and playful digital experiences.

“The aim is to provide an escape from the mundane realities of life. Children revel in joy and adults fall back into childhood. It's designed to be accessible to everyone, not just restricted to museum-goers,” explains the exhibition designer.

The concept is to blend science and fun, technology and games, interactivity and contemplation, all under a vast 3,000m2 tent.

Beyond being a visual spectacle, the exhibition is a technical marvel: it combines highly technological elements to enhance the immersive nature of the experience. For example, visitors can engage with an interactive floor screen or watch a robot produce a flow of bubbles.

Inspired by the colourful voyages depicted in Jules Verne’s tales, the Bubble Planet Experience takes visitors on an unforgettable journey through 11 unique and captivating spaces.

You might prefer to linger and play in the Bubble Bath Room, a gigantic ball pool resembling a relaxing bath. Or be mesmerised by the Infinity Room, in which an arrangement of mirrors and light installations creates an illusion of infinite space with a rainfall of shining light bulbs. A highlight is the VR Room, which takes you on a virtual journey to the heart of an imaginary land.

If Jules Verne’s world was an ode to our planet where everything has yet to be discovered, the Bubble Planet Experience takes the opposite tack by offering a new universe in a world where everything has yet to be explored.
