Question

hi,
Before I call them, perhaps somebody else has had this issue.

My wife has a standard subscription with Proximus. She can receive SMS's with no issue, but whenever she sends them the recipient never gets them

Any idea what could be the issue/solution?

I have a similar problem with BASE. When I am at home or another WIFI place I can send SMSes. However, when I am out and close my 3G, I cannot send e-mails. I need to solve this problem also. Any ideas?

You should probably call the network and ask. It doesn't quite make sense.

Drifter - Your problem is that you're confused between SMS and data.
In simple terms, SMS's are sent over the telephone connection of your phone.
E-mails are sent over the data connection of your phone.
If you're out of range of your wi-fi and then you turn off your 3G, you've effectively turned off your data connection, so obviously you're not going to be able to send or receive emails.

To solve the problem, turn your 3G connection on.
