Open Cinema event kicks off in Brussels and Flanders on 1 October
The Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF) has announced that 20 cinemas spread across Brussels and Flanders will be participating in the Open Cinema event from 1 to 6 October, reports RTBF.
“Come and discover where the passion of cinema lies”, says the slogan for the large line-up of new films and interesting programmes during the event. It promises workshops, exhibitions and guided tours in selected cinemas. The entrance price is either reduced or free.
In Brussels, participating cinemas are Nova, Palace, Aventure and Galeries. Cinemas BUDA in Kortrijk, ZED in Hasselt, Lumières Brugge in Bruges and Studio Skoop in Ghent are among the 16 participating picture houses in Flanders.
The Open Cinema event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of VAF, a product of the Flemish government’s recovery plan ‘Flemish resilience’.
