Question

Hi ,

I have applied for BE citizenship via commune this December. I have lived in BE for more than 7yrs.

Any idea when will i get back my original documents viz Birth Certif etc ?

Is it after the 4 months when i have a reply or later ?

Hope no lengthy procedure there ...
I ask because,
When i enquired at commune counter the lady from commune said that originals will be sent to palais de justice and then i will receive them somewhere in Jan 2014 !!!!

I hope you get them -- I foolishly handed in original documents (instead of certified copies) assuming teh commune would photocopy and hand back) 8 years ago - they disappeared. I'm still annoyed as one had my fathers signature (witness on wedding certificate) and that is irreplaceable
