Pandas prove popular at Pairi Daiza

Numbers were up dramatically at the weekend at Pairi Daiza park, Hainaut province, all thanks to its two giant pandas from China. Although the park was not running at full capacity, staff said they had seen far more weekend visitors than normal and that visitors had been able to admire the pandas and 5,000 other animals at the park in the best possible conditions. It confirmed that the pandas, which arrived from China on February 23, had been particularly popular with the visiting families.
