Paternity leave for self-employed

Question

Hi

Just wondering if there is such a thing as paternity leave for self-employed fathers (I thought 7 days ?). I've been told no by Zenito, but I find it strange as I pay social security like everybody else ... or is it the Company that usually pays ?

For an employee, the employer pays only 3 days of paternity leave and the rest 7 days is paid by the mutual. As you are self-employed, you have the same rights to take 7 days of paid paternity leave by the mutual.
There is a difference employee gets 82% of gross salary for 7 days ( 11.1% of tax will further be deducted)
For self-employed the amount is fixed, I guess it is around 400 euros per week
