People asking for money
Hello there,
Recently I was confronted with the following scenario: A very filthy man in rags approached me, asking for 13 Euros. He said he needed this money to pay for a place where he can take showers, and this is what they would ask as a weekly fee.
I anybody out here aware of such facility in Brussels? I'm just curious whether this man maybe only needed money for drugs. I didn't have the time to go there directly with him.
You can pay for a shower at any swimming pool in Brussels without swimming so that would be 2 or 3 euro.

Use to be beggars at Rond Point Shuman. There was a very frail woman with a three year old baby. They both looked hungry, so I gave them my lunch and walked away. A few minutes later a car drove on to the pavement; some men got out of their vehicle and immediately beat me till I was black and blue and left me heavily wounded. I reported it to the authorities. I suggest you don't give anything to them.
I have regularly encountered that woman at Schuman. I've never given anything to her. I've seen her going shopping in the supermarket also at Schuman and she didn't seem short of money.
I am wondering though, why were you attacked?
Later I found out from other shop keepers and office workers that the reason I was violently attacked was because I gave food, instead of giving cash money.
