Planning Permission and Architects Fees

Architecht fees are normally based upon the cost of the house so for a €200,000 house expect to pay 10% or €20,000. Be careful when selecting an Architecht as certain communes will have issues. If your architecht does not speak Flemish and you try to get planning permission from a Flemish commune it can be very difficult nearly impossible. Search for local architechts as they are more likely to already have an established relationship with the commune.
