In fact when I thought about i just I knowed just applied to join.

I think they organise meetups etc with members. And seeing as the de facto expat language worldwide is English, you can probably get plenty of practice there.

Does your commune offer anything for further/adult education? Mine has an English conversation group meeting once a week.
