pre-martial agreement - update to previous question posted on 27 Aug
jdb - with respect, how would anyone here know what documents are required for your agreement. It will depend on what your agreement is about?
You should discuss this with your notaire.
When I married here several years ago we had no option but to have a pre-nup - the commune insisted so I guess it is, or was then, a legal requirement.
It was all organised by our notaris.
Have you yet started the process with your commune? They will certainly be able to give you basic advice though the document has to be drawn up by a notaris.
There are so many imponderables that it's impossible to give any further help here.
Is your intended going to be able to live here?
Is the potential marriage approved as being a genuine relationship and not just a means for someone to get access to the EU?
Whatever the 'fuller picture' involves, your commune and a notaris are the only places where you are going to get accurate answers relevant in your SPECIFIC situation.
Go to a notary. Advice is free. You pay when they make the document.
