Prepaid card mobile internet London

Question

What is the best deal for a prepaid SIM card to mainly use mobile internet in London. I am only staying 4 days. Hotel no wifi. And need to be able to check mails and update my Facebook page with photos from my exhibition.

Vodafone has the best network in London. Just walk into any Vodafone store and ask for a card.

I'm not sure how the prices compare to Vodafone etc but supermarkets like Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda also do pay-as-you-go sims.

McDonald's have free wifi in all their restaurants go in buy coffee ultimately much less cost

Also many shops have free wifi for hotspots so it's not an issue in the UK I never buy anything I just use my free wifi for the iPad
