Prince Laurent disappears from Twitter

Since Wednesday, Belgium's Prince Laurent can no longer be found on the social networking site Twitter, writes Bruzz. The Prince's official account (@Laurent_of_B) “doesn't exist”, according to Twitter. It does not come as a surprise, as Laurent got into hot water on Monday for posting a photo to Twitter of his controversial visit to the Chinese Embassy.

Monday's post showed the Prince in military uniform while celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Chinese army. However, because prime minister Charles Michel had previously warned that the prince is not to meet with foreign dignitaries without permission, Laurent's most recent visit may result in a partial deduction of his 2017 dotation.
