Problem with Mobistar

Mobistar prolonged our contract wihout our consent. We didn't agree and left Mobistar. Now they demand from us to pay until the end of the prolonged contract. Any advice what to do?

I am guessing that you do not know that, in Belgium, you do not prolong a contract, rather you cancel it by giving three months notice. If you didn't cancel it you have automatically renewed it.
If that it correct, and ignorance is no excuse, you have to pay until the end of the contract. All you can do is hope that they will accept three months notice effective today and pay until the end of March 2013.
