Reliable Apple computer advice

Question

Can anyone recommend a reliable place in Brussels to take an Apple laptop for expert advice - to examine it, give knowledgeable advice, to have it checked, cleaned, add memory etc? Thanks.

Mark L-W

KiwiKatie,
There probably is such a place, but I am not yet aware of them.
I have done my own Apple maintenance, hardware upgrades and everything else on laptops and towers since 1994.
If you think I might be of help, drop me a line at 'mlindsaywhite@gmail.com'.
Regards, Mark.

For repairs, I'd recommend ARC in Dilbeek - http://www.arcict.com. They're an Apple authorized service center that usually does repairs in about 3 days. Other shops take around 3 weeks.

When I took my mac to Cami a few months ago they told me the repair would take at least a few weeks because it would have to be taken to their "technical service in Dilbeek". So I assume they use Arcict as well. Probably the cheapest to go straight to them.

AVOID CAMi at all costs.
They are absolutely c$@! they had my iPad with a broken screen for over two weeks. any idiot could have seen it needed to be replaced (apple do not repair screens) .
The shop told me it would be replaced and would take three weeks, I was annoyed but they said it needs to go to Apple and then a replacement needs to be sent. Bad Belgian service culture they lied.
In fact it took the over one week to send it to THEIR repair people who took one look at it and go oh broken screen. They then sent me an estimate for this via email. Now considering the shop hadn't mention this would happen it sat in my spam box for a second week. They didn't chase it.
I only discovered this because I check the status of my repair. They seemed to think one week to look at an item that I told them needed replacement was fine. In the end I got it replaced by Apple via their telephone help desk. For free due to the terrible service in CAMI

ps this was an almost new item knocked off a table by my son, CAMI quoted me over 300 euro for a repair. In the end it was free because they were so bad. I'd rather have had the repair done immediately and paid I spent ages emailing and ringing Apple about how bad they were
