rental guarantee return question

Question

Hello!

Our landlord did not sign our guarantee. We paid one mount extra and he did not request anything else but they simply did not sign. Many years passed. The property is sold to somebody else. We went to court recently. The other party did not appear in the court. We got a decision saying the parties could not agree, only with our signature. Is this document enough to get the money back from the bank or do you think some other paper will come from court after the result is sent to the other party? What is the next step?

Thanks for the information.

Eric Ash

It looks complicated, so check with the bank or a lawyer.

The next step is to take the paperwork to the bank. If they will give you the money back that's an end of it; if they will not, they will tell you what else you need to produce and how you get whatever that may be.
