Request for Immigration Advice

Question

My minor son - aged 13 years - has a Belgian passport. But I - his father - have an Indian passport. My question is: can I settle in Belgium alongwith my son? Will I be given permanent residency because my son has legal right to stay there?
I would also welcome names of some immigration lawyers/consultants who can advice me on this.
Thanks to all of you to have spent time on this.

Hi,
I believe the answer is yes.
But I suggest that you take advice/informations from a immigration lawyer.
I recommand Lili Bretin - she has a great expertise on immigration law and speaks english (02 770 22 21).
Good luck

I was looking for an immigration lawyer for some uncomplicated matters (in retrospect, which I should have handled in person) and thought I would use advise on this forum instead of picking one out of the yellow pages. So Lili Bretin was the disaster I went for. Totally incompetent or maybe my issue was too simple for the likes of her. Thought I would post this warning for others who search this forum. Only positive is that she is not expensive.
