Rosacea - Cosmetics

Question

I hope someone can help me. Despite moving from antibiotics to isotretinoin my Rosacea only seems to be getting worse. My entire face is now pretty much constantly bright red, and I'm starting to feel more than a little self conscious about it.
.
As a man who has never used cosmetic products before, I really have no idea where to start. I'm effectively looking for a make-up for dummies guide, but aimed specifically at concealing redness, without aggrevating the condition and without making it blatantly obvious to people that I'm wearing make-up. Any recommendations for specific products/routines or referals to a good beautician or dermatologist that can give this type of advice would be very welcome. Thanks for any help.

I am also afflicted with rosacea so I sympathise. I have been treated by Dr Fabienne Forton who specialises in this area. Her practice is on rue Binje,8, in Schaerbeek, tel 216.33.73. As I woman I can use make-up to cover up redness and have tried Avene's camouflage products (available in most chemists) but didn't find them that great. You could also try certain moisturisers which contain green or yellow pigment to counteract redness. Lots of cosmetic counters sell them. I read rave reviews recently about a product by Eucerin called Anti-Redness Neutralising Day Fluid. I've seen Eucerin products in chemists here but haven't looked for this particular cream yet. Avene also do a day cream called "Antirougeurs". All Avene products are recommended for rosacea. Good luck.
