Royal Museums of Art and History free to under-19s
Under-19s can visit Brussels' Royal Museums of Art and History - including the Musical Instrument Museum - free of charge from this week.
The free access, which was introduced on Tuesday, applies to the MIM on the Mont des Arts, the Cinquantenaire and Porte de Hal Museums.
The measure applies to individual and group visits to the museums' permanent exhibitions. Disabled visitors can now also tour the museums for free, as well as a companion.
Full-rate adult tickets have been increased from €8 to €10 at MIM and Cinquantenaire, and from €5 to €7 at the Porte de Hal.
The Royal Museums of Art and History also include the Museums of the Far-East in Laeken (the Japanese Tower and Chinese Pavilion), which are closed until further notice for repair work.
