Samsung Galaxy and Wifi set up

I'm learning how to use a Galaxy SII and following all the appropriate tutorials on the web. But, as far as wifi and Bluetooth parameters are concerned, feel out of my depth. Would appreciate some hand-holding to set up the wifi and bluetooth parameters ... anyone out there up for the task? It would be much appreciated.
