Second hand car choice

Hard to give advice without knowing the model year and the engine you are looking at, but I would say Yaris without a doubt if it's a model from 2005 to 2010 (second generation). It is economical, very cleverly designed and has a lot of room inside compared to the size of the car. Moreover, despite some recent flaws, Toyota is generally speaking a very reliable brand.
