Second hand cars

Question

Hi all

I'm looking for a cheap second hand car (€1,500 or so), but looking on Autoscout Belgian cars seem to be much more expensive than in the UK. For that money in the UK you would find something from 2000+.

I have no real criteria other than something that will last a year or two without major work - I just need it for runs to the supermarket, some small weekend trips etc.

Anyone have any other ideas on where to look / tips for buying?

Luke

try kapaza.be When you go for a car -- the system is different from teh UK -- it is irrelevant if a car has 8 months left on the CT (mot). It should have a new CT very detailed with report for sale and come with a car pass certificate. The seller should also give you an A4 pink form issued by teh CT station that you will have stamped by your insurance company to enable you to register and get a number plate.
