seperation

Hi i am a british trailing spouse married to a brit. He has kindly informed me he woild like to split. Having given up work in the uk to follow here almost 10 years ago i am now virtually unemployable in belgium. Can i do titre service work or anything. My best chance of employment is to head back to uk with kids but hubby says not a chance. So is my only choice to stay here with kids and no income?
