Shipping to Australia

Dear Expats,
My partner and I will be relocating from Brussels to Sydney in July/August and are desperately searching for a cheap and cheerful way of transporting about 40kgs to Sydney as we are not going directly and can't take much with us. So far the quotes we have received have been around the 800eu mark which is a bit steep for us.

Any suggestions would be an amazing help!!
