Shoes for orthodontic insoles

Question

I am getting some orthodontic insoles.

I am thinking it should be best to have shoes that are ideal fro the soles.

Where can I get that kind of shoes/good support buying them?
(IMHO they need to be very sophisticated, rather the opposite. I think they should be quite flat, and thus cheaper)

This is where I go.
They have shoes that you can take out the original soles and put in your ortho- insoles.
They will spend time to help you find the right style/ fitting etc.

If you are looking for cheap however I think you will be looking for a long time.

I spent years searching and making do, with not good results.
From this place they are a perfect fit and last years longer.

I think you mean orthopaedic. Orthodontic has to do with teeth.

I had orthopedic insoles years ago. I bought some sneakers and took out the insoles they came with to replace the ones that were custom-made. Given, you cannot go everywhere with sneakers, but it was a comfortable solution. Good luck!

Mephisto, Rue de Namur, 22, 1000 Bruxelles have a range of shoes with removable insoles so that you can use your own. There are also one or two shoe shops in rue Haute that carry similar shoes. Flat / comfortable shoes are not necessarily cheaper, quite the contrary.
