Telenet business practices

Question

Yesterday I received a phone call from a sales person at Telenet (we have been customers for many years and currently have a package with internet and television). He told me that we could get a better deal for somewhat less money. I made it ABSOLUTELY clear, repeating this several times, that at the moment I did not want to order anything, as I wanted to talk it over with my husband, and take a look at the various options. We ended the call (seemingly) agreeing that I wanted to wait with any order.
What do I find in my e-mail box this morning? Yep, a confirmation from Telenet, thanking me for my new purchase!
Has this happened to anyone else? I find this kind of business practices incredibly dishonest.
I've of course written back to Telenet, let's see what happens.

The same thing happened to me with Belgacom. Now when I pick up the phone and a sales person is on line I immediately hang up wvithout uttering one word.
