UK Incapacity Benefit received in Belgium

Question

Is anyone else in the same boat? My wife receives UK Incapacity Benefit here in Belgium -- (This is because she worked 18 years in the UK and then was unfit for work) Last October she received a letter stating this would cease in 12 months as she was deemed fit - (despite the doctor here saying she wasn't - severe depression, arthritis and other ailments) 5 months of letters and phone calls and finally we get the actual decision -- which is a one liner - accepting she is not capable of regular work but implying she has to be dieing to receive the benefit. (Her symptoms do vary -- but if she goes out one day -- the next 2 or 3 are in bed with painkillers) In a nutshell -- anyone else in a similar situation? Advice on appealing? - Her doctor here can't understand the decision - nor the long delay to get any info. Her incap benefit covers the meds and not much more.

Consequences of a Tory government. I know at least 3 other people receiving Incapacity Benefit who are in a similar boat.
