Unemployment Benefit

Question

Hi am hoping someone could give me a definitive answer or link to some. I have been working with a Belgian company for 6 months (probationary period is 9 months) its not really working out and I would like to leave. If I leave will I get unemployment benefit?
Thanks

J

No, you will not. 2 reasons:
1. not been working long enough to qualify
2. you will be leaving work voluntarily. You only get UB is you are made redundant by the employer.

as said, if you resign you won't be entitled.

If you're fired then you will but again, your length of service may be won't qualify you
