Vitreomacular traction

Dear all,

My doctor has suggested a vitromacular traction surgery as my vision is 50% in one eye. Does anyone have any experience with the surgery in Brussels? Any clinic/doctor you'd recommend? Any complications? Also, for the ones that have undergone the treatment, does it restore any lost vision or is it simply to prevent further deterioration?
