However, you should know.
Jewellers generally want to sell the stock of rings that they already have made. They will take your gold and credit the value against anything that you want to buy but they will charge a serious premium to make your metal into rings for you. And, of course, you have no way of knowing whether they have actually used your specific gold or not.
