Where to dispose of large bulky items?

Hello, I have a dysfunctional TV and exercise bike that I need to dispose of as they are taking up space in our apartment. Is there a place to leave them at? can they be picked up (I don't have a car)? I don't know if I can place them outside for the trash collectors - I've never seen such items on the sidewalks in our area. Thanks.

If you have a recycle park then that's the best if you can get to it.
I will take any telescopes anyone wants to get rid of but that's it.
