What to use moving around in Brussels?

Which apps should I use to manage the connections?

We use Telenet Homespots because we have Telenet.
When it is not available, I sometimes buy FON.

I spent €2 on AutoWiFI (iPhone) , which Telenet recommends. It is not intuitive, and I see its not updated since 2010 :-(

The network isn't dense enough to allow all wi-fi data in Brussels, except in a few small areas. You have to use 3G or 4G as a backup.
