Brussels' smallest house is up for sale
The smallest house in Brussels has gone up for sale for €195,000.
The 60m² house is located on the Chaussée de la Hulpe in the Watermael-Boitsfort municipality and bears a plaque with the distinction "la plus petite maison de Bruxelles" on the facade.
While the home is just 2.15 metres wide, it climbs three storeys high and still boasts a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower.
Real estate agency Trevi said that sales were slow, with just four visits scheduled so far.
“A flat of 60m² is already small, but in this house the total area is spread over three floors – that’s difficult to furnish,” one of the group's real estate agents told Bruzz.
“Moreover, the cottage needs to be completely renovated. It’s a difficult product to sell, but ideal for an architect looking to show how to furnish small spaces, as a kind of calling card.”
