Detailed information boards for Brussels taxi users

Brussels’ 136 taxi ranks will soon be equipped with boards providing users with information on fares, and drivers’ obligations as well as telephone numbers for booking a taxi. In addition, the information provided inside taxis will be more complete, thanks to the mandatory posting of rates, basic regulations and contact information. All information will be displayed in French, Dutch and English. In total, the region boasts 136 taxi ranks and 650 pitches. Each board will cost €110 and their installation will be done by Brussels Mobility. Information sheets will be available to passengers customer in the taxi. Beside rates, rights and regulations and contact information, they will also feature the identification number of the taxi.
