Italian community says no to Michelle Martin
A religious community near the Italian city of Florence has refused to welcome Michelle Martin, the ex-wife of Belgian pedophile and child killer Marc Dutroux. Despite being paroled and given permission by Belgian Authorities to travel to Italy, Martin will have to seek shelter elsewhere.
Since being released in 2012, Martin has been living in a convent near the city of Namur, a move that has outraged many. But now it seems that the nuns she has been living with no longer want her either. With plans to move to Brussels, the nuns say they do no want her to come with them, leaving Martin searching for a place to stay.
Her approved request to leave Belgian was done in hopes of finding another religious community willing to take her in.
