John Cleese brings comedy show to Belgium
The legendary British comedian John Cleese will give three shows in Belgium in April next year. The “most senile member of Monty Python”, according to the promo text, will perform 'Last time to see me before I die' on 27 and 28 April in Antwerp's Stadsschouwburg, and on 29 April in Brussels' Bozar. It is the first time that Cleese brings his one-man show to Belgium.
Cleese (pictured) is the star of the cult series Monty Python's Flying Circus and Fawlty Towers. In addition to his acting work, he also writes film and television scripts, gives lessons in creativity and is co-author of two best-selling books on psychology. Last year Cleese published So, Anyway, a memoir full of hilarious anecdotes about his life and career of more than 50 years.
The first part of the April show will consist of Cleese telling stories, while the second part will leave room for a question-and-answer round.
Tickets to the show - which go on sale at 10.00 on Saturday, 17 October - cost between €35 and €72.
