New Year's Eve in Brussels: DJ set, laser mapping and fireworks at the Atomium

14:17 29/12/2025

The landmark site of the Atomium is once again the stage for the Belgian capital’s New Year’s eve fireworks display.

A festive programme with music and pyrotechnics will ring in 2026 at the Heysel plateau on 31 December, organised by the City of Brussels.

The entertainment kicks off at 21.00 with a DJ set by Brieuc, followed by a laser mapping of the Atomium’s iconic spheres at 23.40. The evening finale is a spectacular firework display at the stroke of midnight, which will light up the night sky over the capital.

This year’s pyrotechnic extravaganza ‘Fusion’ is a site-specific display designed by Arteventia. It is accompanied by an original electro-pop musical composition that aims to appeal to all ages.

Accessing the site

Spectators are invited to use public transport to attend the event. As checks will be carried at entrances to the site, you are advised not to bring bags, suitcases or umbrellas. Glass bottles, potentially dangerous objects and pyrotechnics, including firecrackers, are also banned.

The site is accessible from 21.00 via three entrances providing access to five zones located around the Atomium. Food trucks and bars are available in zones 1 and 2.

Entrance A Avenue Impératrice Charlotte

Entrance B Avenue de Miramar

Entrance C Avenue de l’Atomium

A designated area for people with reduced mobility is available in Place de la Belgique, with access via Avenue de Bouchout and parking located on Avenue de Marathon (King Baudouin Stadium).
